About The Company

Our client is an investment boutique specializing in cryptoassets and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and was established in 2018. They launched their first fund in May 2020 with plans to offer more products in the future. The company aims to inform professional investors on how to access the growing market of Cryptoassets and DLT. They work closely with established industry partners, DLT experts, and professors from top universities to combine thorough analysis and established industry practices to identify top managers who prioritize protecting against downside risk.

About The Position

Objective:

Focus on sourcing and developing investment leads into sales for and building up a distribution network and brand recognition for the fund. This would involve working across HWNI, intermediaries, Family Offices, and Institutional investor types.


Key Responsibilities:

• Generating investor leads in the UK and Europe.

• Develop existing investor leads and maintain relationships with current investors.

• Help maintain internal investor relations databases and systems.

• Follow investor relations processes and help improve them where possible.

• Prepare for, attend and contribute to sales and marketing meetings.

• Attend relevant events and conferences to source investor leads, including industry events.

• Assist with the promotion of the firm’s brand name externally.

• Support marketing, public relations and brand-building work where required



Key Skills and Competency Requirements:


Technical Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelors or Master's degree.

• 3+ year experience in sales, selling funds and alternative investment products with a focus for Hedge Funds and Family Offices and preferably Fund of Hedge Funds

• A proven ability to make sales

• Strong knowledge and ideally experience in selling both to single and multi-family offices and the institutional sector.
