About The Company
Our client is an investment boutique specializing in Cryptoassets and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and was established in 2018. They launched their first fund, the DLT Multifund, in May 2020 with plans to offer more products in the future. The company aims to inform professional investors on how to access the growing market of Cryptoassets and DLT. They work closely with established industry partners, DLT experts, and professors from top universities to combine thorough analysis and established industry practices to identify top managers who prioritize protecting against downside risk.
About The Position
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of operational aspects of the firm, including people, infrastructure and service providers – maintaining and improving processes.
Finance:
Oversight of Fund NAV process/approval; responsible for internal shadow NAV process, performance estimates, cash management and treasury
Oversight of management company finance including management accounts, maintaining models, budget, projections, bank accounts and invoicing.
Operations:
Own and manage all operations processes of the company
Production and maintenance of all operational policies, procedures and documentation.
Management of IT function (outsourced)
Monitoring of regulatory compliance requirements including marketing restrictions.
Oversight and management of the HR function and processes
Manage and drive all internal projects (service provider change, new product launch, regulatory and legal change).
Senior member of the management team.

Key Skills and Competency Requirements:
Technical Requirements:
10 plus years’ experience in the financial services industry with an in-depth knowledge of asset management operations, finance, legal and compliance.
Previously held COO position for boutique asset manager.
Proven track record in the design, implementation, and management of operating infrastructures.
Thorough understanding of asset management structures/vehicles.
Good connections within the industry and understanding of service provider functions.
A proactive person who is comfortable in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
Exposure to and knowledge of the crypto asset class viewed favorably.
Fund of Fund experience beneficial
Ideally, has previously been authorized and regulated by the FCA in a controlled function.
